Scientists have conducted studies on how important it is to take in sufficient fluid every day. You can do that by drinking or by eating fruit and vegetables, because they contain a lot of water. Cucumbers actually are 90% water! This is what the eggheads have discovered:
- Taking in fluids helps keep your concentration at the required level. If your fluid deficit corresponds to more than 2% of your body weight, your concentration and so also your performance dips. So drinking regularly, before you get thirsty, is very important to keep your body hydrated and maintain your concentration.
